Email

Here are a list of email client options and any information about how to set them up

1. pine. This is a basic console email client and doesn't require any setup. Just type "pine" at the command line.
2. Thunderbird. Nice graphical interface and good search features. The imap server is: "astro.ucsc.edu".
3. Webmail. click here

You can have your mail forwarded by editing the file ".forward" in your home directory (create it if it doesn't exist) and in the first line type the email that you would like your "@astro.ucsc.edu" email forwarded to.
